WHAT WE CAN DO:
J.P. has undertaken a variety of job types within the Kootenay region. Being a first choice company in our region, our company has work experience in smaller home renovations, attic top-ups, large condominiums, and residences being newly built. We use a variety of techniques, skill sets, and knowledge, to provide clients with the most efficient and cost-effective insulation for their space. We also are licensed to remove any asbestos products.

CELLULOSE
Cellulose is our blown-in form of insulation. Cellulose can be applied to pre existing walls, newly built exterior walls, attic spaces, and floor spaces.
Cellulose is the top contender for sound proofing, fire separation, and inhibits pest infestation. Cellulose is also made of 75-85% recycled material.
FOAM BOARD
Foam board is our rigid board form of insulation.
Foam board resists moisture from entering your home. For this reason it is typically used in new builds, or flat walled basement spaces and foundations.
Foam board is also a more eco friendly product than spray foam.
However it can be ineffective in some tight or hard to reach spaces where another form of insulation may be used to provide proper R value and quality throughout the job.
ROXUL
Roxul is our dense batt form of insulation.
Roxul can be applied to exterior and interior walls.
Roxul is the best form of batt insulation because it creates sound proofing, and fire separation.
We always recommend roxul if you plan to batt your space.
FIBERGLASS
Fiberglass is our light batt form of insulation.
Fiberglass is one of the most cost efficient forms of insulation.
However, Fiberglass does not provide noise prevention like roxul.
Nor does fiberglass have as high of a R-value, which is important for energy efficiency.
SPRAY FOAM
Spray foam is our polyurethane type of insulation.
Spray foam is applied to rim joists or concrete on new builds, and renovations with concrete walls and ceilings.
Spray foam stops moisture from entering your home because it hardens to become a plastic form of insulation.
Spray foam is most effective in tight or hard to reach places and is extremely effective for energy efficiency
POLY
Poly is our Vapour barrier.
Poly is applied to exterior ceilings and when roxul or Fiberglass insulation has been used.
OTHER SERVICES WE OFFER
Mesh:
Mesh is a cloth fabric that is applied to hold in cellulose when doing the blown in form of insulation. (Pictured on left)
Windows:
We also provide a window sealant service using rod and caulk.
Asbestos Removal:
We are licensed to remove and transport asbestos products. Including vermiculite, drywall, ducting, ect.
RESIDENTIAL
We will work with you to ensure your home is properly insulated for peace, quiet, and comfort.
COMMERCIAL
We will work with your business needs to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget.
